SKACD provides school nursing services to our students. We partner with our member districts’ school nurses to ensure that students with exceptionalities are provided with quality health services while attending school. 

SKACD offers free hearing and vision screenings to any student in our member districts who has an existing IEP.  We conduct these screenings at regular intervals in order to monitor our students’ visual acuity and sound perception ability.  School nursing services also include general health checks and progress monitoring.  SKACD assists our member districts in medication administration, healthcare treatment planning, and general student wellness initiatives.
