SKACD provides special education and related services to many students across SW Kansas. In most situations, there is one professional who works closely with the student to determine the presence of an exceptionality and to make recommendations for possible interventions. That professional is the school psychologist.
SKACD has a team of over 15 school psychologists who provide academic and behavioral recommendations to our school teams. School psychologists also participate in leadership and problem-solving committees in their school buildings outside of their typical special education responsibilities.
